Galaxy S11 Plugged with Spectrometers

Samsung will launch its newest cellphone, Galaxy S11, in 2020. At present, the South Korean company is said to have received a test socket for the Galaxy S11 periscope camera. The periscope camera was made by Korean company MecaTech Systems.

Reporting from the GSM Arena page, Tuesday (8/10), the test socket is used to carry out a final check of the hardware before the manufacturer begins sending components. MecaTech makes regular smartphone cameras in addition to periscope cameras, along with the ToF module.

Rumor has it that Samsung will choose a 5X optical zoom for the Galaxy S11. The main camera on the cellphone is said to have a 108MP sensor inside a module by Samsung Electro Mechanics.

Not only that, rumors also revealed that the Galaxy S11 will display a spectrometer. This feature can analyze the chemical components of objects, such as estimating the caloric content of food or determining the alcohol content of drinks.

If that is true, then cell phones can be used for health tracking. Unfortunately it is still a rumor the article Samsung has not officially announced the details of the device. (one / opi)
